Whereas  Robert LaBar is a member in good standing of the Society for 40 years serving in many capacities for the good of the Society including leading the Society as its President in 1979-1980.

And Whereas Robert LaBar was awarded the Archey Award in 1979 for his work in promoting archaeology in Pennsylvania.

And Whereas Robert LaBar has served the Society at the local Chapter level as officer, member and trustee.

And Whereas Robert LaBar has served the Society in the faithful stewardship of the chairmanship of the Elmer Erb Permanent Fund Board of Trustees for nearly 20 years.

Therefore, let the members of the Society for Pennsylvania Archaeology know that the Board of Directors has issued this resolution in gratitude for the many years of service to the Society by Robert LaBar.
